Drug Take Back Day to Be Held at Care Fair

(Pilot Knob, MO) During the Iron County Health Coalition's Care Fair on Sunday, there will also be a Drug Take Back Day taking place.

Executive Director, of the coalition, Vicki Branstetter explains the importance of Drug Take Back Day.

Branstetter says that some people leave their unused and expired medications in their medicine cabinets, or flush them down the toilet. She says it's important to dispose of the medications safely and properly.

During the Drug Take Back Day, an officer with the Pilot Knob Police Department will be on hand to help with the process.

The Drug Take Back Day takes place, during the coalition's Care Fair, on Sunday, April 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Iron County Medical Center in Pilot Knob.
