Larry Joseph - Vice President/General Manager


Grew up and went to school in Phoenix, AZ...Growing up Iworked in the restaurant business with my Dad. Started my broadcasting career in Phoenix back in 1971 for an FM Station. Also had the opportunity of broadcasting Minor League Baseball for the Phoenix Giants in 1972. Served 6 years in first the Air National Guard and then in the Army National Guard. Left Phoenix and worked for various Radio Stations in all capacities. Came to then Flat River in 1987, as General Manager of KFMO AM. In 1992 KFMO Radio was purchased by M.L.Steinmetz and a partnership was formed. In 1994 KDBB FM was purchased and shortly thereafter I became Vice President/General Manager of M.K.S. Broadcasting, Inc I have served as Past President of the Missouri Broadcasters Association in 2002-2003. Served on the Board prior to that. Currently the Chairman of the Member Resources Committee. Been to Washington DC many years for the Missouri Broadcasters Association to lobby for Broadcasters.
Locally, been on the Farmington Chamber Board, Bonne Terre Chamber was President in 1999 and served on the Board; currently 1st Vice President of the Park Hills/Leadington Chamber of Commerce and was a board members during various years. Member of Rotary since 1988. Served as President of the old Flat River Rotary Club and now currently a member and a Paul Harris Fellow of the St. Francois County Rotary Club. School Board Member of the North County School District from 2007-2010. Married for 25 years to Carrie. 2 twin children, both graduates of Southeast Missouri State. Brett and Dana.
