Flags Hang in St. Francois County Courthouse Annex in Remembrance of 9/11

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - Friday, September 11th marks the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the United States that claimed 2,977 lives.

Two American flags are displayed in the lobby of the St. Francois County Courthouse annex as a local remembrance of September 11th, 2001.

St. Francois County Auditor Louie Seiberlich says the flags have been hanging in the annex for the past ten years as a way to commemorate the tragic day.

The flags remain on display in the lobby of the annex, providing a visible reminder of the lives lost and the significance of September 11th in American history.
