Bonnie Johnson was born on February 25, 1943, in St. Louis, Missouri to John and Marie (Wallace) Gavin. Bonnie enjoyed playing games on her computer, and getting scratch offs, she also loved to shop. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and she loved spending time with her children, family, and friends. Bonnie passed away on June 6, 2026, having reached the age of 83. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael David Johnson Sr., her parents John and Marie Gavin, her brothers Don Gavin and Vince Gavin, her sisters Joan Jackson Gavin and Roseann Holtkamp Gavin.

Son: Michael Johnson Jr.
Daughters: Jackie Johnson Giardina, and Elizabeth Johnson
Brother: Robert Gavin and his wife Brenda
Sisters: Catherine Fischer Gavin, June Thompson Gavin, and Loretta King Gavin, and Florence Babb Gavin
Grandchildren: Michael David Johnson III, Shawn Patrick Johnson, John Michael Giardina, Danielle Marie Giardina, Rhiannon Elizabeth, Tobias Alexander, Schmied, and Angelina Maria Giardina
Great grandchildren: Isabella Sophia Johnson, Gianna Lynn Giardina, Brilynn Joy Giardina, Dakota Stewart, and Easton Stewart
Bonus Granddaughter: Brooklynn

Visitation will be held Thursday June 11, 2026, from 12pm until the service at 1pm at Coplin Funeral Home in Park Hills, Missouri with Father John Schneider officiating. Interment will be held at the St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre, Missouri. Coplin Funeral Home of Park Hills, Missouri is in charge of the arrangements.
