Position Summary

Bulk Tank Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior CNC Machinist to support advanced machining operations using MAZAK CNC equipment. This role is ideal for a hands-on machinist who can independently set up, program, troubleshoot, and optimize jobs while pursuing high-quality work and serving as a technical resource for less-experienced operators.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently set up, program, and operate MAZAK CNC lathes and/or mills (Mazatrol and/or EIA/ISO G-code)

• Interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T

• Select tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies

• Perform first-article and in-process inspections

• Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize processes

• Collaborate with engineering on manufacturability

• Mentor and assist junior machinists as needed

• Maintain machines and ensure safety compliance

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of CNC machining experience

• Strong MAZAK experience preferred

• Proficiency in Mazatrol; G-code experience preferred

• Advanced blueprint and GD&T interpretation skills

• Strong independent problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Mazak Integrex, Quick Turn, horizontal, and vertical milling machines

• Experience machining stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel

• Background in custom or low-to-medium volume manufacturing
