TheHeavy Equipment Assembly Inspector is a position within BTE and the QualityControl department that conducts receiving, in-process, and final inspectionsof parts, supplies, and assembly of heavy mobile equipment such as skidsteers,backhoes, and excavators and works independently to help resolve qualityissues. The inspector must possess a trained eye for detail and must bereliable and committed to accuracy and thoroughness in the completion of theirinspection tasks.

Thesuccessful candidate for this position will have previous training and/orexperience in heavy equipment maintenance, heavy equipment assembly, equipmentinspection, procedure writing, and interpreting drawings and schematics.


·        Inspects and evaluates specialized heavy equipment and equipmentattachments using blueprints, hydraulic schematics, and electrical schematics.

·        Inspects assembled heavy equipment, finished components, partsbeing processed, incoming materials, parts, and assemblies, etc., forconformance to blueprints, schematics, and specifications.

·        Measures equipment components with measuring tape, calipers,micrometers, multimeters, torque wrenches, pressure and flow gages, and otherinspection gauges.

·        Creates and writes procedures for testing and inspection ofequipment and attachments.

·        Use hand and power tools to test and inspect equipment.

·        Provide inspection results and data to those responsible for theequipment assembly and production of equipment parts and components

·        Keeps records and makes reports indicating results ofinspections.

·        Uses experience and judgment for establishing task prioritiesand accomplishing work.

·        Works independently under general supervision.

·        May inspect work areas to detect unsafe conditions

·        Other duties as assigned


·        High School diploma or equivalent is required

·        Proficient in interpreting blueprints that include mechanical,welding, and assembly drawings

·        Proficient in interpreting electrical and hydraulic schematics.

·        Proficient in using Microsoft Office programs to create workinstructions and test procedures

·        Ability to learn manufacturing MRP software

·        Proficient in performing calculations using basic math andtrigonometry functions

·        Ability to work independently with limited supervision

·        Must be very detail oriented and willing to learn

·        Ability to operate (or willingness to learn) fork trucks,skidsteer loaders, backhoes, excavators, and overhead cranes

·        Clean driving record with ability to obtain commercial truckdriver’s license (Class E)

·        Occasionally required to perform heavy equipment inspections bydriving company truck to remote locations that may require overnight travel

·        Previous training or experience with maintenance of heavyconstruction equipment is preferred but not required

·        Previous training or experience with SolidWorks or other 3Ddesign software is preferred but not required


Theemployee is required to stand and walk for long periods of time; climb orbalance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently liftand/or move parts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move parts up to50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision,distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and abilityto adjust focus.

Good Earth Tools,located in Crystal City, MO, is seeking a detail oriented Accounts PayableClerk to establish working relationships with internal and external customerswhile completing payments and controlling expenses by receiving, processing,verifying and reconciling invoices. The A/P Clerk’s responsibilities include,but are not limited to, the following:


·        Reconciles processed work by verifying entriesand comparing system reports to balances.

·        Charges expenses to accounts and cost centersby analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.

·        Processes vendor payments

·        Pays employees by receiving and verifyingexpense reports and requests for advances; preparing checks.

·        Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying andposting account transactions.

·        Verifies vendor accounts by reconcilingmonthly statements and related transactions.

·        Maintains historical records by scanning andfiling documents.

·        Reports sales taxes by calculatingrequirements on paid invoices.

Work Environment:

This job operates in aclerical, office setting.  There is routine use of standard officeequipment including, but not limited to, computers, phones, photocopiers,filing systems and fax machines.


Physical Demands:

This is a largelysedentary position, however will require some moving about the office as wellas lifting and filing.   This would require theability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool asnecessary. Individuals may needto sit or stand as needed. This position may require walking primarily on alevel surface for periods of time as well as reaching above shoulder heights orbelow the waist or lifting up to 25 pounds as required to file documents orstore materials throughout the workday.

Position Overview:

Good Earth Tools is looking for an experienced, energetic, self-motivated individual with metal fabricating experience to join our 2nd shift team! The requirements and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:



  • Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal products, specified by work orders, diagrams, and templates by using different welding applications.
  • Operate fabrication shop machinery and equipment by reading job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements per the routing and material list.
  • Understand and safely operate fabricating machines by following instructions and adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Preheats parts, using hand torch, burner and induction heater by following heating procedures and specifications.
  • Works with engineering department to troubleshoots part fit and assembly process by adjusting materials and print specifications in order to fabricate final product.
  • Observe proper machine operation to detect part defects or machine malfunction based on company standards and procedures.
  • Inspects first part for quality, accuracy, and functionality by checking product specifications based on following guidelines of shop floor order print/instructions. 


  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • A minimum of two (2) years of metal fabrication experience preferred, or proof of welding certification for entry level position
  • Must be able to interpret drawings to cut, notch, fit, and weld materials to proper specifications
  • Must be able to work 10 hour shifts, Monday - Thursday 4:30pm - 3:00am
  • Must have the ability to work 40 hours a week and maintain a punctual, reliable attendance record.

Physical Demands:

  • Moderate to heavy physical effort required
  • Must be able to safely lift and carry 50+ pounds
  • Regularly required to stand, reach, and move about the facility
