All SAINTS MUSEUM SPECIAL EVENT

ACTIVITIES, CRAFTS AND TREATS FOR KIDS ALL AGES

Complete the treasure hunt from clues throughout the museum to get a ticket for giveaway prizes. Show your stamped journal at the registration desk to get souvenirs and enter for drawings. Each room also has trick-or-treating in a safe environment. If you want to take a break, there is plenty of seating throughout the displays and in dining area, or you can take a break in the mini theater. Sadly, we are not able to offer food this year, as our kitchen is being reconstructed after recent flooding. There is something for every age and every interest.

WHAT IS ALL-SAINTS ' MUSEUM?

It’s a good, old-fashioned, fall fellowship, built around a history museum in a maze. You’ll find age graded, take home activity, sheets, interactive activities, movies, jokes, quotes, special items, libraries, and seating, history, displays, stamp for your journal, and a serious look at saints, present, and past, who have stood for Christ. You’ll begin with a display of contemporary Halloween with biblical and historical interpretations of common symbols, then step across the “metal detector" to see missionaries and other persecuted Saints around the world. The next room will take you back to the reformation period and the first English Bibles. Still further back, you can walk into full scale, catacombs section from the Church Fathers era, see examples of early Christian symbols, and copy some catacomb art on your journal. Finally, trace Halloween’s roots all the way back to the earliest believers to the front of the cross, in a cutaway view of the empty tomb of Jesus, to learn the truth really is more shocking than fiction.

Date: Tuesday, Oct 31
Time: 5:30-7:00 P.M.
Place: Elvins Baptist Church 202 W. Elvins Blvd Park Hills, Missouri

Groups may wish to contact Pastor Bond at the church for tours by appointment at other times. Trick-or-treating is only on October 31st.

WHY?

We are raising funds for an epilepsy service dog for Nora.

When Nora was 6 she began having several different types of seizures. She was diagnosed with a rare form of epilepsy called Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome. Those are just some big words that mean Nora has multiple different types of seizures on a daily basis.

In the last 5 years, Nora has had lots of tests and hospital stays. It’s not always been easy for her, but she is a STRONG GIRL and STRONG in her FAITH!

We know that even when we don’t see it, God is always working ALL things out for her good.

What does a service dog mean for Nora?

She will have a constant companion and comfort for hospital stays, blood draws, doctor visits, and everyday life. The dog will be trained to detect and help alert us of seizure activity. It is very hard to physically have eyes on Nora every minute of the day. If Nora has a seizure that continues past 5 minutes, she needs a rescue medication. When Nora has a seizure while sleeping, using the restroom, getting dressed, etc. the dog will alert us right away!

A service dog will provide Nora a degree of independence that she has not had. It will be a HUGE benefit for Nora and the whole family!

If you are unable to attend, would you consider helping us reach our goal?

You can donate in the following ways:

Venmo: @aServiceDogForNora

Paypal: @aServiceDogForNora

CashApp: $aServiceDogForNora

Mail a check or money order made out to SRFC to:

SRFC

 P.O Box 29

Farmington, MO 63640

There are many ways you can donate! For more information, Look up "A service dog for Nora" on Facebook.
