Farmers Market Days

Peterson Feed and Farm in Bonne Terre hosts their Farmers Market Days on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon! 

They will host Chicken Poop Bingo at 11 am. The Cost is $20 a square. and there are only 50 squares per game! How to play: You pick a number for $20 per number. If poop lands on your square, you are a $500 winner! if the poop land on the line of 2 squares, the money is split 50/50-$250 each! If poop land on the corner of 4 squares-the money is split four ways-$125 each! You do NOT need to be present to win!

Join us at Angel Walk 2025, a nonprofit event dedicated to ending impaired driving. Let's walk together towards a brighter future!

We walk to remember those effected by a impaired driver.

Please bring a picture of your loved one to share on our memory board of victims.

ENTRY FEE $15.00 PER PERSON

DONATIONS ARE WELCOME!

WE WILL BE UPDATING EVENT ACTIVITIES AND INFORMATION AS WE GET CLOSER TO THE ANGEL WALK. WE WILL HAVE A RAFFLE.

Show Me Space 2025

The Space Museum and Grissom Center located at 118 E. School St. in Bonne Terre, presents Show Me Space 2025, happening June 28, 2025! The theme for this year’s event is “Show Me Sci-Fi Space”, the ultimate celebration of the most iconic sci-fi universes that have captured our imaginations for generations.

***Show Me Space online ticket purchases are $45 per adult and $35 for students K-12 and college. Children ages 5 and under are admitted free. Same-day door ticketing is available only while supplies last.***

PRESENTERS:

Dan Monroe: Content creator and host of “Movies, Music, & Monsters”, presenting deep dives into sci-fi, music, TV, behind-the-scenes secrets, and Hollywood props. Monroe will take part in meet and greets, autograph sessions, and presentations.

Dr. Tom Jones: Space Shuttle astronaut on four missions (STS-98, STS-80, STS-59, STS-68). Dr. Jones will take part in book signings, autographs, and presentations.

Lou Dalmaso: Professional model builder and content creator of “Aztek Dummy Productions”. Dalmaso will present his NCC-1701-D studio-scale Enterprise model along with meet and greets and autograph sessions.

Lance S. Winkel: Assistant Professor of Digital Animation School. Winkel will take part in meet and greats and animation demonstrations.

70th Explorers Garrison: Star Wars Imperial costuming group.

 

ACTIVITIES:

Tour The Space Museum and Grissom Center’s collection of 1940s, 50s, and 60s sci-fi toys, among the most comprehensive on display in the Midwest.

See Lost in Space’s B-9, Star Wars’ R2-D2, and other full-scale robot replicas.

Door prizes, including a chance to appear on a segment of Youtube segment of “Movies, Music, & Monsters”.

 

CONTESTS:

Attend Show Me Space in your best cosplay to take part in the cosplay contest included with event admission.

Space sci-fi modelers' contest. Separate registration required through The Gateway Chapter of the International Plastic Modelers’ Society (IPMS). Scan QR code below for details.

 

AMENITIES:

Light lunch (hotdog, chips, snack cake, and drink) included with event admission.

Astronaut Tom Jones will hold book signings.

Bonne Terre's Annual Light Up the Sky Event

Join us for an unforgettable evening under the stars at the bonne Terre City Park! Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and your favorite people for a spectacular fireworks show that will dazzle your whole family!

St. Francois County Walk

There will be a refreshing walk led by a Horticulture Specialist from MU Extension at Owl Creek Park on Monday, July 21st beginning at 8:00 am. Everyone will meet at the park's entrance.  

Get active, explore the park and learn about Missouri's beautiful native plants along the way!

Bring bottled water, comforatble attire and outdoor necessities such as sunscreen, hat, etc. 

This is a great opportunity to enjoy nature, ask questions and discover more about the plants growing right in your community! All ages are welcome!

Bonne Terre City Wide Yard Sale

The 2025 City Wide Yard Sale in Bonne Terre, is scheduled for August 1st and 2nd.

Participants are required to obtain permits, which are available for $1 per day or $5 for a permit and a listing on the city's directory. 

The directory will be posted on Facebook and printed copies will be available at the Utility Window on July 31st.

NCHS Post-Secondary Expo

On Wednesday, August 13 from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm, North County High School will host an expo in the high school Commons Area & Gym.

This is to be able to help North County high School students initiate contact with the many different options that are available after high school. You're invited to join so that your students have the opportunity to speak with professionals in their field of interest so they can begin to plan and make informed decisions!

Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Park Hills host a public food pantry each Friday from 7:30 AM until 9:30 AM.
