Charges Filed After Road Rage Incident

(Jefferson County, MO) Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney Trisha C. Stefanski,, is announcing charges against 22 year old Shanyka K. Fouche, of Memphis, Tennessee after an alleged road rage incident June 4th. Fouche is charged with Assault in the First Degree, Unlawful Use of Weapon Shooting from a Motor Vehicle Resulting in Injury, two counts of Armed Criminal Action, Attempted Assault in the First Degree, and five counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child in the First Degree Creating Substantial Risk. It's alleged that on June 4, Fouche was a passenger in a vehicle involved in an incident with a another vehicle as they were driving northbound on Highway 55 in Jefferson County. During the incident Fouche is said to have fired three shots which struck the other vehicle, one going through the door and striking the passenger. After the shooting, the vehicle Fouche was in fled the scene and was later apprehended on northbound I-270 by the Creve Couer Police Department. Fouche is currently being held in the Jefferson County Jail without bond.
