Farmington Seniors Graduate With Latin Honors

(Farmington, MO) The Administration at Farmington High School is preparing for graduation on Sunday, May 22nd. This year will be the third year Latin Honors are awarded instead of the traditional Valedictorian and Salutatorian. The Principal of the High School, Jamie Lamonds, says they made the switch three years ago because too many students were working too competitively to earn the top two positions and the school district wanted to spread out the honors.

Lamonds says she believes helping the community is one of the more important things all high school students should learn.
