(Fredericktown, MO) During summer we can sometimes cross paths with snakes and the situation could be dangerous if we don't know what to do. The New Director of Nursing at the Madison Medical Center of Fredericktown, Melissa Helm, says if you get bit, identification of the snake is the first thing to do.
Helm adds there are three different rattlesnakes that are common in Missouri and their is the Cotton Mouth and Omega Copperhead.
