Little Damage from Storm

(St. Francois County, MO) The National Weather Service in St. Louis is surveying possible damage from Tuesday's early morning storms. A survey team has been deployed to look for damage from Bonne Terre to Chester, Illinois. There were brief tornado warnings in parts of St. Francois and Ste. Genevieve Counties around 1:30 this (Tues) morning. Strong winds, pea size hail and heavy rain were all reported with the system. St. Francois County Emergency Management officials say the county experienced little damage including a downed tree and a power outage. No injuires have been reported as a result of the storm.
