Ministerial Alliance Gets Building Donation

(Farmington, MO) An anonymous donor is giving the Farmington Family Fun Center building, at 756 Weber Road, to the Farmington Ministerial Alliance. The Alliance's Director of Benevolence, Nancy Faulkner, says this will allow additional space for the alliance food pantry and thrift store.

According to Faulkner when the new location opens it will be a "by choice" food pantry. People will be able to have a choice of the foods they receive just like shopping in a grocery store. In order to assist the group with renovations to the building, and certain equipment needs, a special program called the "Double Up Challenge" is underway. A donor has stepped forward and will match any donation to the program up to $100,000. Ministerial Alliance leaders hope to be have the move into the facility completed by September 1st.
