Ste. Genevieve County Saturday Crash

(Ste. Genevieve County, MO) Three people are recovering from injuries after a two vehicle head on crash in Ste. Genevieve County Saturday afternoon just after 4 o'clock. Troopers with the Highway Patrol say a pick up driven east on Highway 32, at Siebert Road, by 60 year old Joe R. Capps of Advance, crossed over the center line and struck the front of an SUV driven west by 33 year old Katelyn M. Stafford of Farmington. After the impact Capp's truck ran off the road and into a pond. Stafford and a passenger in her vehicle, 60 year old Danielle R. Stafford, were moderately injured. They were both taken to Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital in Ste. Genevieve. Capps was seriously injured and flown to SSM Health at St. Louis University Hospital.
