Tuesday Madison County Wreck

(Madison County, MO) A woman from Fredericktown, 56 year old Tammy J. Carter, is recovering from moderate injuries after she was hurt in a one vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon just after 5:15 in Madison County. Troopers with the Highway Patrol say Carter was driving north on Highway 67, about 15 miles south of Fredericktown, when her SUV ran off the left edge of the road. It became airborne, crashed to the ground, and rolled over several times. Carter, who was not wearing a seat belt during the accident, was taken to Mercy Hospital at St. Louis.
