Amanda (Bales) Laird was born on July 9, 1980, in Würzburg, Germany, to Robert Lee Bales and Janet (Whitchurch) Fox. Amanda enjoyed antiques and loved the river and sunbathing. She also enjoyed picking up rocks and collecting arrowheads, and she loved to spend time with her family and friends. Amanda passed away on February 1, 2026, having reached the age of 45. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Bales and her husband Matt Laird.

Mother: Janet Fox and her husband Brady
Son: Rowan Anthony Lloyd Camden
Stepbrothers: Michael Brent Fox and Jeremy Leo Fox
Many friends and family also survive.
A private service will be held by family at a later date. Coplin Funeral Home of Park Hills, Missouri is in charge of the arrangements.
