Bridget Ann Presson

Bridget Ann Presson, of Farmington, Missouri, entered eternal rest on February 7, 2026, at Southbrook Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, at the age of 78. She was born on June 14, 1947, in Peach Orchard, Missouri, to the late Thomas and Rosie (Williams) Floyd.

Bridget is survived by her husband, Jim Kopp; her children, Gene Kennon (Marilyn) and Jeff Kennon (Rae); her grandchildren, Stormy, Dustin, Ashton, Brooke, Stephanie, Nate, and Ethan; and fourteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a dear friend who was like a sister to her, Linda Brooks, along with a host of cousins.

In addition to her parents, Bridget was preceded in death by her husband, Warner Lee Presson; her siblings, Jerry Floyd, Inia Parks, Audrey Welch, Kay Valenti, Norma Wyille, Thomas “Junior” Floyd, Alf “Bud” Floyd, and Leah Swain; and her special canine companion of 18 years, Abby.

Bridget owned and operated daycares for more than 30 years while living in Arkansas and was lovingly known to many of the children as “BB.” She was a devoted member of the Leadington Free Will Baptist Church, where her faith and church family were an important part of her life.

Bridget enjoyed gardening, going to auctions, and spending time at yard sales. Her kind heart, caring spirit, and the love she shared with her family and friends will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

A visitation will be held at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Pastor Bob Thebeau.
