Dakota Hood

Dakota Anthony David Hood, born to Richard Hood and Billie Johnson on October 24, 1995, in Farmington, Missouri. Dakota left us on the morning of April 25, 2025, as the result of an automobile accident.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents Irvin and Sharon Hood, Gayle Hall, Wanda Canada, Novie Canada, special fathers Jimmie A Johnson Sr. and Randall Mowder Sr. and special friend Kyle Weible, his aunt Theresa Robben as well as several other aunts, uncles, and others are waiting for him as he enters the gates of heaven. 

He is survived by the love of his life, his daughter Danielle, his father Richard and companion Marilyn, his mother Billie (Canada) Johnson and companion Craig, his fiancé Amanda Dunn, her daughter Adrianna, son Gage Albertson and grandson Kylar Aubuchon, his brothers Randy Mowder companion Andrea, Michael Johnson wife Karen, William Johnson companion Shelby, George Johnson wife Wanda, Justin Manganaro, very special friend Toby Cash, godbrother Rammey Marler, uncles Terry (Jake) Jacobson companion Vickie and Bennie Lucy wife Tammy, his aunt Connie Koper (John), his grandfather Bill Canada and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive. 

Dakota was a 2014 graduate of Central High School, with honors from Unitec in Machining. From graduation, he went to work at Flat River Glass; after leaving there he tried many things to find his niche in life. From Auto Repair and Salvage, maintenance, and at the time of his death he was working in food service. Dakota had a kind heart and a caring soul. 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 30, 2025, from 11am until the service at 1pm at Coplin Funeral Home in Park Hills with Rev. Nathaniel Molter officiating. Coplin Funeral Home of Park Hills, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
