David Ray Goodman was born on September 20, 1953, in St. Louis, Missouri to Anzel Goodman and Rosetta (Robison) Baker. David enjoyed digging roots, and he loved fishing and spending time outdoors. David also loved spending time with his grandchildren. David passed away on February 24, 2026, having reached the age of 72. He was preceded in death by his father Anzel Goodman and his sister Vickie Wilson.
David is survived by:
Mother: Rosetta Baker
Sons: William Goodman and Tommy Lee Goodman
Brothers: Jerry Lee Goodman, Gary Luke Goodman, Danny James Goodman, and Larry Joseph Goodman
Sisters: Gracie Ann Deboard, Marlyan Hollan, and Cindy Lynn Goodman
15 grandchildren and many friends and family also survive.
A private service will be held by family at a later date. Coplin Funeral Home of Park Hills, Missouri is in charge of the arrangements.
