Esther Marie Miller

Esther Marie Miller, of Farmington, Missouri, entered eternal rest at Stockhoff Memorial Nursing Home on September 25, 2025, at the age of 96. She was born on October 29, 1928, in Farmington, Missouri, to the late William and Effie (Baldwin) Wade.

She is survived by her children, Kathy Tesreau, Stanley Miller (Sue), Patty Long (Bob), and Lisa Detring (Randy); her grandchildren, Kelly Shelley, Michael Sullivan (Holly), Missy Burnette (Mike), Heather Sullivan, Erica Sokeland (Mike), and Bobby Miller; her brothers, Ralph Wade (Ann) and Eugene Wade; along with 16 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry Miller; her son, Darryl Miller; her grandson, Mark Miller; her sister, Juanita Raue (Chuck); her brothers, Robert Wade (Louise) and Bud Wade (Vernice); her sister-in-law, Linda Wade; and her son-in-law, Roy Tesreau.

Esther devoted her life to her family as a homemaker. She was a faithful member of Libertyville Christian Church. In her free time, she enjoyed crafts, sewing, camping, music, shopping, gardening, and, above all, spending time with her family. She lived a simple, meaningful life filled with love.

A visitation will be held at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, beginning at 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. officiated by Pastor Mike Haney. Interment will be held at Libertyville Christian Cemetery immediately following the service. Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
