Gary Sumner was born on October 6, 1950, in St. Louis, Missouri to Lester and Dorothy (Stolle) Sumner. Gary enjoyed playing washers and working around his property. He also liked playing cards and spending time with his friends and family. Gary passed away on January 27, 2026, having reached the age of 75. Gary was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Dorothy Sumner and his brothers Danny Sumner, Larry Sumner, Lester Sumner, and Paul Sumner.

Son: Joeseph Sumner
Many friends and family also survive.
A private service will be held by family at a later date. Coplin Funeral Home of Park Hills, Missouri is in charge of the arrangements.
