George Driscoll Corcoran was born on July 25, 1937, in Flat River, Missouri, to Leo Corcoran and Alberta (Hieldabrick) Corcoran. George loved being outdoors and going hunting and fishing. He also liked telling his hunting and fishing stories, and spending time with his friends and family. George passed away on March 22, 2026, having reached the age of 88. He was preceded in death by his parents Leo and Albert Corcoran, his siblings Bob Corcoran, John Corcoran, and Betty Dickerson.
George is survived by:
Daughters: Tina Hays and Regina Jacobs and her husband Jason
Companion: Sandra Holvert
Sister: Evelyn Corcoran
Grandchildren: Rikki Shibley, Alyxandria Shibley, Amanda Richardson, and Megan McClain
Great grandchildren: Joshua Richardson, Zachary Richardson, Ryker Shibley, Molly McClain, and Paisley McClain
Many friends and family also survive.
Memorial visitation will be held Thursday April 2, 2026, from 4pm until the service at 7pm at Coplin Family Funeral Home in Bismarck, Missouri with Pastor Donnie Akers officiating. Coplin Family Funeral Home of Bismarck, Missouri is in charge of the arrangements.
