Henry "Mike" Clay King Jr., of Perryville, Missouri, passed away on July 24, 2026, at his residence, at the age of 63. He was born on April 22, 1963, in Perryville, Missouri, to the late Henry Clay King Sr. and Janet (Boyer) King.
Mike is survived by his sisters, Dee Ernst and her friend, Russell, and Melissa Fortner and husband, Daniel; his nieces and nephews, Kyla, David, Heather, Beth, Chris, Savannah, Danielle, Elizabeth, and Levi. He is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, extended family members, and loved ones who will cherish his memory.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Michael J. Ernst, and his beloved canine companion, Sassy.
Mike owned and operated his own landscaping company for many years before later working as a mechanic at Gilster-Mary Lee. He was known for his strong work ethic and took pride in every job he did. In his free time, Mike enjoyed landscaping and spending time fishing. He appreciated life's simple pleasures and valued the time he spent with his family and friends.
