Jerry "Ruby" M. Clifton

Jerry "Ruby" M. Clifton, of Perryville, Missouri, passed away on July 23, 2026, at his residence, at the age of 74. He was born on April 11, 1952, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Harvey Clifton and Mildred (Davis) Clifton.

Jerry is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Julia (Schmidt) Clifton; his children, Amanda Rhyne (Johnny), Christopher Clifton (Aimee), Nicholas Clifton (Amber), and Jesse Clifton (Nichole); his grandchildren, Kylee (Marcas), Tyler, Cailyn, Taylor, Andrew, Cambrea, and Aubrey. He is also survived by many friends, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and loved ones who will cherish his memory.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by many brothers and sisters.

Jerry worked for many years as a miller at ConAgra Foods before retiring. He took pride in his work and in providing for his family. He was also a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Crosstown.

In his free time, Jerry enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley, trading cars, watching wrestling, and taking drives down country roads with Julia. Above all, Jerry treasured the time he spent with his family and loved making memories with his children and grandchildren.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Crosstown from 10:00 a.m. until the memorial service begins at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Gary Tyler officiating.
