Kevin Eugene King, Sr., of Farmington passed away on March 7, 2026, at his residence, surrounded by his loved ones, at the age of 61. He was born on July 29, 1964, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Thomas and Glenda Mae (Hovis) King.
Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Denise “Dee Dee” King; his children, Kevin King, Jr., Highley Boyer (Davey), and Tyler Finch (Elaina); his mother, Glenda Chatman; and his cherished grandchildren, Addyson, Aiden, Camden, Brecken, Grayson, Rainer, Ava, and Sunni, who brought him great joy and pride. He is also survived by his siblings, Kristen Haywood (Randy) and Brad King (Jamie), along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and special friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas King.
Kevin enjoyed spending time doing the things he loved most. He had a passion for racing and working on racecars, and he also enjoyed gardening and taking care of his swimming pool. He took pride in keeping his yard neat and especially loved mowing the lawn. Above all, Kevin treasured the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, who meant the world to him.
A visitation will be held at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 5:00–9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Bryan Smith officiating.
