Miami Grace Caldwell, 99, of Farmington, Missouri (formerly of Elvins) Passed away February 16, 2026.
She was born on December 5, 1926 in Fredericktown, Missouri to her parents, the late William W. Buritt and Myrtle ‘Baldwin’ Buritt.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray “Bud” Caldwell – 2006 and by one sister Diana Kavanaugh.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Carolyn Sue “Susie” Horton and Patricia “Patty” Wampler-Reeves and husband Richard.
Grandsons, David Wampler and James “Jim” Wampler and wife Dana,
Great Grandsons, Dakota Wampler and wife Kelby and Ryan Wampler and wife Alysha,
2 Great Grandsons, Karson and Ashton,
Other relatives and friends also survive.
Miami was a member of the Elvins Baptist Church, taught Beginners Sunday School for 25 years and also Girls GA.
She enjoyed making crafts, ceramics, sewing and cooking.
She helped her husband and daughters in their family’s funeral businesses over the years, Caldwell Funeral Homes and Horton-Wampler Funeral Home.
Visitation Sunday February 22, 2026 from 1:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home, 1 Federal Park Ave., Park Hills, MO 63601.
Service Monday February 23, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Bond.
Burial at Parkview Cemetery, Farmington, Mo.
