Racine Henager was born on September 6, 1962, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, to William P. Smolar Sr. and Mable Francine Rager Pruey. Racine was a part of the 1981 graduating class from Lock Haven High School. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, embroidery, baking new recipes, crafting, home improvements, and camping. She was also active in the Farmington Civic Center. Racine passed away in her home, surrounded by loved ones on May 8, 2026, having reached the age of 63. She was preceded in death by her parents, William P. Smolar Sr., Mable and Andrew Pruey, her brothers John and Ken Pruey, and her sister Theresa Smolar.

Three grandchildren, and many friends and family also survive.
A special thank you to Cindy McLaughlin, BJC Healthcare Hospice Team, Washington University and her treatment team for the help in treating her throughout the last five years.
A celebration of life will be held by family at a later date. Coplin Funeral Home of Park Hills, Missouri is in charge of the arrangements.
