Sue Strever Bennett, age 91, formerly of Bismarck, Mo, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 21st.
Sue was married to Floyd Bennett for 58 years and they spent their retirement years traveling, fishing and golfing. They spent nearly 40 years in South Texas, where fishing and golfing could be enjoyed year-round. Floyd preceded her in death in 2025.
Sue was the daughter of Merwin and Mary Strever and had 7 Siblings.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father and sisters Joanne Krelle, Mary Lou Daniel, Harriet Strever, along with brothers John Strever and Bill Strever
Sue had 5 children, Jerry Bennett and wife Cyndi, Barbara McAdory, Debbie Young, Jeff Bennett & wife Missy, and Carol Stephens. Daughters Debbie Young and Carol Stephens also preceded her in death.
Besides her remaining children, Sue is survived by sisters Sara Green and Elizabeth Deaton. Sister-in-Law Donna Page (Jerry), Grandchildren Lisa Fowler (Earl), Joy Primoli, Annie Halter (Ryan), Madison Bennett, Kyle Wilkins, Aaron Wilkins and Alex Stephens.
She is also survived by many great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
A joint memorial service for Sue and Floyd is planned for later this year.
