Terry LaBruyere

Terry LaBruyere, 75, of Park Hills, Missouri passed away on May 20, 2026.
He was born on May 22. 1950 in Bonne Terre, Missouri to his parents, the late Russell Joseph LaBruyere and Virginia “Silsby” LaBruyere.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Vicki “Fingers” LaBruyere, his high school sweetheart; Lillian LaBruyere, his aunt who raised him as her own since infancy; and his first grandson, Steven Matthew LaBruyere.

Terry is survived by his children, Matthew LaBruyere and wife Amy; Crystal “LaBruyere” Erp and husband Tobin; and Douglas LaBruyere.
He had 6 grandchildren whom he adored and spoiled as much as possible and was expecting his first great-grandchild any day.
He also leaves behind a twin brother, Larry LaBruyere; a sister, Judy Elfson; sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Terry proudly served 20 years in the United States Air Force, where he retired as a Senior Master Seargent.
Although serving in the Air Force took him all over the world, Missouri was always in his heart. No matter where he lived, you could always spot him in a St. Louis Cardinals shirt or hat.

He was an incredibly giving and selfless, never wanting anyone to go without.  His last act of kindness was to save another through organ donation, so a small part of him will live on.

A memorial and mass are planned for a later date.
Arrangements by Horton-Wampler Funeral Home, Park Hills, Missouri.
