Thomas Gilmore, of Park Hills, was born on June 18, 1951, in Bronx, New York to Howard and Doris Gilmore. Thomas was affectionately known as "Happy" or "Pop". He was a proud veteran. He also enjoyed sitting by the ocean, traveling, classic cars, and lighthouses. Thomas retired from the Potosi Correctional Center. After his retirement, he enjoyed working for NAPA, and spending time with his friends and family. Thomas passed away on August 14, 2025, having reached the age of 74. He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Doris Gilmore, his wife Debi Gilmore, and his brother Howard Gilmore III.

Sons: Thomas Gilmore Jr. and his wife Dawn, Kevin Gilmore, and Joe Gilmore and his wife Shentell
Daughters: Jeana Steven and her husband Mike, and Rebecca Hendrix and her husband Clay
Brother: Bob Gilmore and his wife Rita
Sister: Doreen Leschinski
Grandchildren: Timmy, Nicole, Haley, Kody, Levi, Clay, Tyler, and Amy
Great grandchildren: Everett, Axel, Alyssa, Calie, Brooklyn, Brylie, Ellie, Baylor, Rawson, Ryett, Knox, and Crew
Many friends and family also survive.
A celebration of life by family will be held at a later date. Coplin Funeral Home in Park Hills in charge of arrangements.
