William "Bullrider" Lionel Roberts II was born on March 27, 1940, in St. Louis, Missouri to William Roberts and Irma (Burch) Roberts. William enjoyed bull riding, woodworking, working on cars, and watching old western movies. He also loved to spend time with his grandchildren and his family and friends. William passed away on May 7, 2026, having reached the age of 86. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Irma Roberts, his sister and brother-in-law Beverly (Roberts) and James Craig, and his son Shawn Forrest Roberts.
William is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Mary Virginia Ann (Albertson) Roberts
Children: Kelly and Tony Aiello, Paul Roberts, Janet and Lawrence Givens, Misty and Douglas Halter
Grandchildren: Danielle and Michael, Ryan and Courtney, Cheynne and Daelyn, Donna, Gavin, Angel and Brandon, Baylee, Logan, Garrett, and Sierra
12 great grandchildren, and many friends and family also survive.
Memorial service will be held Tuesday May 12, 2026, from 4pm until the service at 6pm at Coplin Funeral Home in Park Hills, Missouri with Rev. Michael Barton officiating. Coplin Funeral Home of Park Hills, Missouri is in charge of the arrangements.
