Body Found in Potosi Ditch Identified

(Potosi, MO) The identity of a body found lying in a ditch Monday, in the city of Potosi, is that of Jacob A. Barton of Park Hills. An autopsy has been performed yet the cause of death is still undetermined. The investigation into Baton's death continues.  His body was discovered Monday lying in the ditch near the area of Highway 8 and Pearl Road. The case is being handled by members of the Potosi Police Department, Washington County Sheriff's Office, and the Washington County Coroner's Office.
