Commissioners Approve Speed Limits

(Farmington, MO) St. Francois County drivers will see new posted speed limits on three roads soon after commissioners gave approval for the proposal at Tuesday's County Commission meeting. Associate Commissioner of District 2 in St. Francois County, David Kater, says it's another improvement to help keep county roads safe.

The roads to get the limits are King School Road at 45 mph, Hazel Run at 35 mph, and Blomier Road at 15 mph. A special prosecutor for the St. Francois County Prosecuting Attorney was also approved at the meeting. It was also announced the county's sales tax collections are down by about 1/2 percent.
