Desloge, Mo. (KFMO) - A Park Hills man, 30-year-old David Michael Dooley, is being charged with First Degree Burglary, and two counts of First Degree Sexual abuse following an investigation by the Desloge Police Department.
According to a press release, Desloge Police received a report of a sex crime involving an adult female at her residence on Sunday, July 19. The report indicates the victim and the Dooley were acquaintances, and the incident occurred inside the victim's residence.
According to the probable cause statement filed, the victim was awaken by an unknown sound. The victim received a phone call from Dooley stating he was a minute away with a banana shake. Upon his arrival Dooley had asked for a tour of the victim's residence.
While giving the tour, the victim states Dooley pushed her up against the wall and went in for a kiss. The victim rejected the action and Dooley picked her up and moved toward her bedroom. The probable cause statement indicates the victim was then placed on the bed in a way that restricted her arms and legs. The encounter continued while the victim told Dooley to stop and leave numerous times before he finally ended the assault.
Investigators located Dooley on Tuesday, July 21 and he admitted to his involvement in the incident. On Monday, July 27 Dooley turned himself in to the St. Francois County Jail and was released on a $150,000 bond. A court date has not been assigned at this time.
