Farmington Woman Falls Asleep at the Wheel

(St. Francois County, MO) A woman from Farmington, 21 year old Brooklyn Matychowiak, is suffering from moderate injuries she sustained in a one car crash late Wednesday night in St. Francois County. The State Patrol says Matychowiak fell asleep at the wheel in the 3700 block of Hildebrecht Road just before 11:30. Her vehicle ran off the right side of the road before hitting a fence, a mailbox, and a tree. She was taken to Parkland Hospital South at Farmington. She was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.
