Friday Wreck Injures Potosi Teen

(Jefferson County, MO) A teenager from Potosi, 19 year old Angelina J. Portell, is recovering from moderate injuries after she was hurt in a one car wreck Friday evening about 7:20 in Jefferson County. Highway Patrol reports show Portell was driving north on Highway 21, south of Perkins Road, when she lost control of the car and it ran off the right side of the road. It crashed into a ditch and rolled over. Portell, who was not wearing her seat belt at the time of the wreck, was taken to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis.
