Iron County Motorcycle Accident

(Iron County, MO.) A man from Old Monroe, Missouri, 62 year old Jeffrey G. Ely, is recovering from serious injuries after running his motorcycle off highway 32 about 4 miles east of Bixby Sunday morning just before noon. Reports from the highway patrol show Ely was riding his motorcycle West when he lost control of the bike and it ran off the right side of the road and smashed into a tree. He was wearing a helmet when the wreck occurred. Ely was flown to Mercy Hospital St. Louis.
