Ironton Man Struck by SUV

(Iron County, MO) An Ironton man, 33 year old Michael D. Stirts III, is dead after he was killed when he was struck by an SUV Tuesday night at 8:25 in Iron County. Highway Patrol reports show the vehicle was being driven east on Highway 72, a mile east of Arcadia, by 60 year old Lana K. Conner, when it struck Stirts who was in the roadway. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Conner was not injured.
