Kehoe Reviewing 100 Bills Passed by Missouri Legislature

Jefferson City, Mo. (KFMO) - Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe says his administration is now reviewing the 100 bills approved by lawmakers during the latest session of the Missouri General Assembly.

Kehoe says each piece of legislation will receive a thorough review before any final decisions are made.

In addition to the legislation, Kehoe says his office will also spend the next month examining Missouri’s state budget.

The governor says his administration plans to take what he described as a “small business, conservative approach” when evaluating both the budget and legislation to ensure the measures are in the best interest of Missouri residents.

The General Assembly concluded its legislative session earlier this month, sending the measures to the governor’s desk for consideration. Kehoe has the authority to sign the bills into law, allow them to become law without his signature, or issue vetoes on specific legislation.
