Monarch Family Resources Director on 2026 Abortion Ballot Proposal

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO)​ - Abortion access is set to go before voters again in November of 2026 after the passage of House Joint Resolution 73 this past May. The Executive Director of Monarch Family Rsesources, Peter Scrhock, says he feels positive about the issue.

The American Civil Liberties Union of Missouri has filed a lawsuit against the measure. ACLU officials say the ballot summary for the constitutional amendment on abortion is misleading and needs to be rewritten before the issue goes back to voters.
