Need for Blood Donations High in July

Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - Officials with the American Red Cross are urging people to give blood this month.

An Account Manager for the Red Cross, Tara Lincoln, says even though this is the summer, many people spend time on vacation and family events, it's still important to give blood.

According to Lincoln, there are special incentives this month for giving blood including Goodr Brand sunglasses, if you donate through July 14, 2025, and a free Fandango movie ticket voucher if you donate the July 15 - 31.
