One Dead, One Injured In Possible Targeted Attack

Cedar Hill, Mo. (KFMO) - Law enforcement officials with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department are investigating a homicide following a shooting that occurred Friday night around 6 p.m. 

According to a press release deputies responded to the 7000 block of Lakeshore Drive in Cedar Hill where two victims had been shot. A 24-year-old male was pronounced dead at the scene, and a 51-year-old male was transported to an area hospital. The suspect fled the scene.

The report states investigators believe this was a targeted attack, and there is no information indicating a threat to the general public. 

Investigators worked through the night and continued their efforts Saturday. Search for the suspect remains ongoing.
