Out of State Man Strikes Mobile Home with Truck

Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Waukesha, WI, man was injured after crashing his vehicle into a mobile home in Jefferson County Thursday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the crash took place a little after 3:45 p.m. on southbound U.S. Route 67, north of Missouri Route 110.

The crash occurred while the 65-year-old driver, of a Ram 1500, was traveling southbound on U.S. Route 67, the driver fell asleep, and traveled off the right side of the road, causing the vehicle to strike a ditch. The right rear end of the Ram struck the front of the mobile home.

The driver was transported to a nearby hospital after the accident for treatment of minor injuries.

The driver was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. No other injuries were reported.
