St. Francois County Seeking Warrants for Non-Compliant Sexual Offenders

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The St. Francois County Sheriff's Department is seeking warrants for several non-compliant sexual offenders living in the county.

According to a press release posted to social media by Sheriff Jeff Crites, there are currently 423 registered sexual offenders in the county. Of those, 31 are non-compliant. As of Monday night, the county is seeking warrants on 27 of those non-complaint offenders, with the remaining 4 having already been served.

Examples of non-compliance includes failing to register, operating unregistered vehicles, residing at an unreported location, or visiting prohibited locations, such as parks.

If you are aware of a non-complaint offender, the department asks that you report them to the St. Francois County 911 Joint Communications Center at 573-431-3131.
