Trump Gives Iran “A Couple Of Days” As Nuclear Pressure Campaign Continues

Washington, D.C. (KFMO) - President Donald Trump said Wednesday that Iran has only “a couple of days” to accept U.S. demands to end nuclear enrichment as negotiations continue over a possible resolution to the ongoing conflict involving Tehran.

The White House and U.S. military are continuing efforts to increase pressure on Iran by blockading Iranian ports and expanding economic sanctions aimed at weakening the country’s economy.

Missouri Republican Senator Eric Schmitt said during an appearance on Fox News’ “Hannity” that the economic pressure campaign has placed the United States in a stronger negotiating position.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent is also calling on American allies in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East to impose additional sanctions against Iran in an effort to further isolate the country economically.

Iranian leaders maintain they are not seeking to build a nuclear weapon, despite ongoing concerns from the United States and its allies regarding the country’s nuclear program.
