Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - The 26th annual Mineral Area Council on the Arts K-12 Student Art Show is set for Friday, April 24, showcasing a record number of student submissions across the region.
Executive Director Tiffany Gallaher says this year’s event has seen major growth, with more than 3,200 pieces of student artwork entered, up significantly from about 1,950 submissions last year.
Gallaher says part of that growth comes from the addition of a new category this year.
The show will be open to the public on Friday, April 24 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the MAC ITC Building. The event will conclude with an awards ceremony at 7 p.m., recognizing outstanding student artists from across the region.
