77-Year-Old Man Injured in Madison County ATV Crash

Madison Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A 77-year-old Marquand man was injured in an ATV crash Saturday afternoon in Madison County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 2:45 p.m. on County Road 320,  approximately six miles south of Marquand. Troopers say the man was operating a 2001 Honda 500 ATV northbound in a field when the vehicle overturned, ejecting the driver. The driver, who was not wearing a safety device, sustained moderate injuries. He was transported by ambulance to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment.

The ATV sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
