Arnold Man Charged in Shooting Incident After Investigators Find Firearms, Ammunition

Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - An Arnold man is facing six felony charges after the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office investigated a shooting incident on August 9 in the 1400 block of Scenic Drive in Arnold.

21-year-old Nicholas B. Fenstermaker has been charged with three counts of first-degree assault and three counts of armed criminal action.

Investigators allege Fenstermaker fired shots from his vehicle at a group of people following a verbal altercation with the victims. None of the victims were injured by the gunfire. Investigators say they recovered spent shell casings at the scene and were able to identify the vehicle involved. The vehicle was later located, and investigators obtained a search warrant.

During the search, investigators reportedly found a spent shell casing inside the vehicle, along with multiple firearms and ammunition that were consistent with the shell casings recovered at the scene.

Fenstermaker was taken into custody on August 10 and is being held in the Jefferson County Jail without bond.
