St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Bonne Terre man was injured late Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash in St. Francois County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 10:48 a.m. at the intersection of Berry Road and Timberline Drive. Troopers say 19-year-old man from Imperial was driving a 2024 Dodge Durango eastbound when he attempted to make a left turn and failed to yield to an approaching vehicle.
The second vehicle, a 2012 Mazda 5 driven by a 74-year-old Bonne Terre man, struck the side of the Durango. The Bonne Terre driver suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Parkland Health Center North. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
The Patrol reports the Bonne Terre man was not wearing a seat belt, while the teen driver from Imperial was.
