Boyce Lane Near Plattin Road to Close for Bridge Replacement in Jefferson County

Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Drivers in Jefferson County are being advised to plan ahead for a long-term road closure beginning next week.

Boyce Lane near Plattin Road will close starting January 12 as crews begin work to replace the low water bridge in the area. The closure is expected to remain in place through August while the replacement project is completed. During that time, motorists will not be able to access Boyce Lane at the bridge location. A signed detour route will be in place, directing drivers to use Highway TT, Highway 61, and Plattin Road. Officials are encouraging drivers to allow extra travel time and to use caution when traveling through the detour area.

Motorists are also reminded to slow down and watch for crews and equipment near the work zone throughout the duration of the project.
