Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - Bray Road in Farmington is now closed from Shade Tree Lane to Woodlawn Drive.
The temporary closure will allow crews to complete road construction associated with the Farmington Crossing Development.
Farmington Mayor Chris Morrison says other aspects of the development are also underway.
Drivers are encouraged to follow posted detour signs and use caution when traveling through the area. Construction workers and equipment may be present as work continues.
Local traffic will continue to have access to residential streets in the area by following the posted detours.
Officials have not established a timeline for completion of the road construction.
Drivers should allow extra time when traveling through the area and watch for changing traffic patterns as construction progresses.
